§ 12-13. Trespassing.

  • (a)

    It shall be unlawful for any person to enter or remain upon the property, real or personal, of another without the consent of the owner of the property, occupant of the property, or the agent or servant of the owner or occupant of such property. Such entry without consent shall be a violation of this section, whether or not the person so unlawfully entering such property is requested to remove himself immediately from the property. When a person enters onto property after having received written notification not to do so, it shall be prima facie evidence that the entry was without consent.

    (b)

    It shall further be unlawful for a person who has entered the property, real or personal, of another with the consent of the owner to fail or refuse to remove himself immediately from the property when requested to leave by the owner or occupant of the property or the agent or servant of the owner or occupant. Failure to do so shall be a violation of this section.
