§ 19-246. Advertisement of assumption or absorption of tax prohibited.

It shall be unlawful for any person providing lodging services to advertise or hold out or state to the public or to any customer, directly or indirectly, that the tax or any part thereof imposed by this article will be assumed or absorbed by the lodging provider or that it shall not be added to the lodging price of the property sold or the services tendered, or if added, that it or any part thereof shall be refunded.
