§ 21-95. Rates generally.

  • (a)

    Every person having an account with the city for water service supplied by the city and received through a metered water tap shall pay for the water at the rate as set by the city council by resolution. The rate shall be reviewed annually and the city council may make adjustments to the rate following review, by resolution.

    (b)

    There shall be a minimum monthly charge for each and every metered water tap regardless of the amount of water actually received. This minimum monthly charge shall be set by city council resolution and shall be reviewed annually. The city council may make adjustments to this charge following the review, by resolution. All water charges shall be computed, charged and paid for to the nearest one thousand (1,000) gallons actually received at the water tap.
