§ 21-125. Construction standards for sanitary sewers.

  • (a)

    The size, slope, alignment, and materials of construction of all sanitary sewers, including building sewers, and the methods to be used in excavating, placing of the pipe, jointing, testing, and backfilling the trench, shall all conform to the requirements of the building and plumbing codes or other applicable rules and regulations of the city and of the state.

    (b)

    The materials and procedures set forth in the appropriate specifications of the American Society of Testing and Materials and Water Pollution Control Federation Manual of Practice No. 9 shall apply.

    (c)

    Where there is conflict between the codes, rules, regulations and specifications described in this section, the more stringent shall apply.
