§ 2-31. Salaries of councilmembers, mayor pro tem and mayor.

The salaries of the members of the city council, the mayor pro tem and the mayor shall be set by ordinance. The members of the city council shall be paid four hundred dollars ($400.00) per month, except the mayor pro tem, who shall be paid five hundred dollars ($500.00) per month, and the mayor, who shall be paid six hundred dollars ($600.00) per month.
