§ 2-272. Fees for criminal justice and other police records.

  • Fees for criminal justice and other police records, most of which, by law, are open to public inspection, shall be as follows:

    (1)

    Where fees for certified copies or other copies, printouts, or photographs of such records are specified by law, such specific fees shall apply.

    (2)

    Except as provided in subsection (1) of this section, all other fees shall be set by resolution of the city council, upon recommendation of the chief of police.
