§ 5-56. International Residential Code adopted.

(a)

The International Residential Code, 2006 edition, published by the International Conference of Building Officials, together with the appendices, except for appendices E, I, K, L, M, N, O, P, and Q, with the following amendments, is hereby adopted. A copy of the International Residential Code, 2006 edition, shall be available at the city clerk's office, for viewing and inspection by the public. It shall be the responsibility of the public works director to make sure this copy is in place, as specified.

(b)

Any references to plumbing or electrical requirements, with the exception of references made to required fixtures, shall be excepted from the International Residential Code.
