§ 2-5. Oath of office.

Before entering upon the duties of his office, every officer shall take and subscribe before a judge of a court of record, and file with the city clerk, an oath or affirmation that he will support the constitution of the United States and the constitution of the State of Colorado, this Charter, the city ordinances, and will faithfully perform the duties of the office.
