§ 8-4. Public works board.

There shall be a public works board, which shall consist of three (3) members who shall be appointed by the council, none of whom shall hold any other public office or position in the city. The city manager and the mayor shall serve as ex-officio members of the board. The term of the appointed members shall be three (3) years, except that of the three (3) members first appointed, one (1) of whom shall be appointed for a term of one (1) year, and one (1) for two (2) years. Any vacancy during the unexpired term of any member shall be filled by the council for the remainder of the term.
