§ 14-95. Oath of police officers and firefighters.

Before entering upon the duties of office, every police officer and firefighter shall take and subscribe before the director of finance, and file with the director of finance, an oath or affirmation that he will support the Constitution of the United States and of the state, the laws of the state and the provisions of this Code and other ordinances of the city and faithfully perform the duties of the office upon which he is about to enter.
