§ 9-298. Hookup fee; equipment standards.

  • Any business wishing to have alarm detection equipment monitored by the official police monitoring system will be required to pay a hookup fee in the amount set by the city council by resolution and on file in the city clerk's office. This fee will become the property of the city and will not be refunded upon termination of the hookup. Any such detection equipment must be compatible with the official police monitoring system, and equipment may not be hooked up if it causes disruption to the official monitoring system or causes excessive and repeated false alarms.
