§ 15-5. Saving clause.

Latest version.

All official bonds, recognizances, obligations, contracts and all other instruments entered into or executed by or to the city before this Charter takes effect, and all taxes, fines, penalties, forfeitures incurred or imposed, due or owing the city, shall be enforced or collected; and all writs, prosecutions, actions and causes of action, except as herein otherwise provided, shall continue without abatement and remain unaffected by this Charter; and all legal acts done by or in favor of the city shall be and remain as valid as though this Charter had not been adopted.
